A Heartfelt Thank You — And What’s Next for MicroAssets 💙
This is a tough one to write. The rumours are true. From this week MicroAssets as a stand-alone project is no more.
After much reflection, I’ve made the decision to pass the torch - MicroAssets is joining Acquire.com.
The decision came down to alignment and timing. When I spoke with Andrew from Acquire it’s clear we are very much on the same page. Being candid, building a two-sided marketplace as a bootstrapped solo founder was a very difficult challenge. In fact, it was probably over-reaching.
This was the recent announcement that really resonated with me.
I started @acquiredotcom for founders like me: scrappy, efficient, and profit focused. Somewhere along the way, I lost that. Not anymore.
We’re not building for the ones chasing unicorn status or who care about TechCrunch headlines. We’re building for the ones who know a $1–$5M

The simple reality is Andrew has the resources, positioning, and drive to help bootstrapped founders get the most return from selling their project.
If you ever shared a link, replied to an email, offered feedback, or just lurked quietly in the background—thank you. Seriously. Every bit of encouragement mattered. You helped build this.
I couldn’t be more excited about where he’s taking things.

I’ll still be around, just in a new chapter of the journey. And I’ll always be rooting for bootstrapped founders everywhere 💪
